This timeless and iconic 1950's tulle dress, rendered in shades of crystal blue, accented with pale blue floral appliqués, is just the piece for that special occasion.
The sweetheart neckline of the dress is set off by a layer of pleated and gathered tulle, which joins the wide pleated tulle shoulder straps. The fitted and boned bodice, is accented by tailored seams and boasts a pale blue rayon base with a tulle overlay. The cinched in waistline, draws the eye to the pale blue embroidered floral appliqués, which contour the top of the skirt line, and set off the gathers and pleats of the tulle skirt-line The double layered tulle skirt line sits above a pale blue rayon lining, completing this dress in an iconic 1950's silhouette. Closures: This dress fastens along the back with a 13 inch metal zip and a hook and eye.
Condition: This dress is in good but not perfect vintage condition. Colour fading along the armpits, the rayon appears to be a much paler shade of blue. Very faint age marks and slight discolouration to the floral embroidered appliqués below the waistline. Very light colour variation to the rayon lining within the skirt. These minor details are not apparent when the dress is being worn.Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
