A marvel to behold, this original 1950's clear lucite box bag, accented by hand painted flowers surrounded by trailing green florals, is just the statement piece to add to your vintage collection.
The wonderful size and elegant Pagoda shape of the lucite, boasts a curved lid, with a central rounded clear lucite handle, positioned between metal hardware. The curved lucite lift lock clasp, allows for the top tier of the bag to open to a small rectangular compartment. The base of the bag opens with a push lock clasp, which is positioned along the base of the lucite clasp, opening to a larger second compartment, allowing for the user to have two different sections of use. In true Wilardy fashion this wondrous box bag showcases the design and skilful eye of the era.

Condition: In beautiful vintage condition with surface scratches to the lucite, and tarnishing to the metal hardware. Gentle wear to some of the hand painted floral details. A hairline crack along the underside of the lid beneath the handle. A hairline crack within the curve of the lucite lift lock clasp.  These minor details do not affect the wearability of this piece and are not apparent when the bag is being used.Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the product description
