This eye-catching 1940's rouge red dress, rendered in a rayon crepe and embellished with decorative soutache embroidery and rhinestones, is just the piece to welcome to your everyday wardrobe.
The softly notched V shaped neckline of the dress, is framed by a simple shoulder line, which is accented by slim internally sewn shoulder pads. The short length sleeves are set off by turned up cuffs. The fitted bodice of the dress is decorated with trailing soutache patterns along each yoke, finished with claw set silver rhinestone embellishments. The tailored cut of the bodice, is accented by simple pleats that radiate from each shoulder line and tailored bust darts, which framed the central red plastic and rhinestone embellished buttons.The cinched in waistline is accented by a matching belt, which draws the eye to the elegant line of the panelled cut skirt.

Closures: This dress fastens along the side seam with an 11 inch metal zip and 3 buttons along the centre front of the bodice.
Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. A very small pin sized age mark along the front right hand side of the skirt, 4 inches below the waistline. This minor blemish is not overly apparent when the dress is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the condition report.
