This breathtaking 1950's large rectangle box bag, is the perfect statement piece to complete your ensemble.
The rectangle shape of the bag boasts an exterior of white rocaille beads, set off by a white lucite lid with a gold lift lock clasp, bordered by gold floral filigree accents and a central filigree motif to the top of the lid. This beautiful bag is framed by a wonderful beaded handle that twists around itself, creating a truly magnificent and comfortable design. The bag opens to a central black rayon satin interior, with one small side pocket and a mirror on the interior lid.

Condition: In wonderful vintage condition, with natural tarnishing to the filigrée features and clasp, the medallion on the lid appears to have lost a central piece in its lifetime. Light surface scratches to the lucite. Foxing to the interior mirror. These minor issues are not apparent when the bag is being used, and only visible under closer inspection.
